Until recently, if someone had approached me to discuss the existence of a higher being, I would have confidently given them an answer, as I was certain that no such being existed. However, this perspective began to shift after I found evidence supporting the existence of a higher power or being. Let me assure you, this wasn’t due to some journey of self-realisation that made me open or aware; it was nothing like that. I am not one of those delusional believers in fact, I am as sceptical as most people. But when the truth is right before your eyes, ignoring it feels like pretending, and I hate living behind a facade. I would rather face reality head-on. I’m actually grateful that this realisation came while I was still alive, as so many have died restless, without ever achieving the certainty of a higher being’s existence. All they had to rely on was faith.
For a long time, billions of people around the world have believed in the existence of a supreme being based on personal faith, religious texts, and spiritual experiences. Throughout history, individuals have claimed to encounter the divine through miracles, visions, or answered prayers. For these individuals, the existence of a higher power is not merely an abstract concept but a reality that shapes their daily lives. Religious traditions, such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and others, provide detailed descriptions of a supreme being or beings who interact with the world and its inhabitants. The sheer number of people who claim religious experiences and the consistency of these claims across cultures and time lend credence to the argument for a higher being, although these experiences are subjective and not universally accepted as evidence. Ultimately, the question of whether a supreme being exists remains a matter of belief, shaped by one's worldview, philosophical inquiry, and personal experience.
For me, however, the discussion has evolved beyond faith or subjective experience; it rests now on substantive evidence. I am confident that a supreme being exists, because only an entity of such extraordinary power could alter the very mechanisms of the cosmos without disturbing the intricately balanced lives of its inhabitants. To illustrate, consider the moon, whose regular rise in the east and descent in the west. This is how we observe the sky from Earth. So, when it starts going contrary then there must be something interfering with its regular path because it is a factor that is determined by the Earth’s rotation. This natural rhythm, along with the moon’s gravitational influence, is essential for life as we know it, affecting everything from ocean tides to ecological cycles. It is a system of elegant constancy.
Yet recently, there have been observable deviations in the moon’s movements and subtle shifts down here on earth that defy our expectations of celestial mechanics. Any significant disruption of the moon's natural order would typically lead to far-reaching consequences, yet we observe no such disturbances. Instead, the moon appears to roam beyond its bounds, as if it was allowed an unprecedented freedom in its path. This phenomenon clearly proves the presence of a force capable of influencing the cosmos in ways that we, in our limited understanding, cannot yet explain.
